Summer

The valley offers a great variety of excursions by foot (sees Paper IGC n.°105). From some years it has been experienced a ring trail that puts in communication Germanasca, Argentera, Thuras valleys and the French Guil one, wile allowing night stay in various Refuges. Also the mountain bike fans find in this territory many opportunities; from some years the Refuge is staging point for the sportsmen who follow the ways that from Geneva and Vien lead to Ventimiglia. For the lovers of climbing there are various cliff ways and arenas. For the interested ones is possible to visit the Exilles and Fenestrelle forts reachable in 30/40 car driving minutes, or the talc mines in Val Germanasca (Scopriminiera) 1 hour by car

Winter

	The Refuge is a starting point for many trips of ski mountaineering of various difficulty (v. paper IGC n.°105). 5 km. away there are the cableways for the Milky Way (Mounts of the Moon, Sansicario, Sestriere). There are also various possibilities for snow shoes walks.
